Day 1-- Arrive in BostonWelcome to Boston, the
starting point for your trip to the Mystic Maritimes. Upon arrival, transfer to
the Radisson Hotel and prepare for this evenings Welcome Reception, hosted by
your Tour Director.

Day 2-- Boston St. Andrews-by-the-SeaThis
morning begins with a drive north through the upper reaches of Massachusetts
into the wooded countryside of Maine. Remote towns dot the path as you proceed
to the eastern most tip of the United States. Cross the Canadian border and
arrive in St. Andrews-by-the-Sea. Here, check into the lovely Algonquin Hotel,
one of the most famous hotels in North America.

Day 3-- Saint John Prince Edward Island
After
breakfast, board the motor coach and enjoy the ride as you pass by the bustling
harbor of Saint John. Listen as your Tour Director describes the Loyalist and
French settlement of the Kennebecasis Valley. Later, motor on through Cape
Tormentine to todays final destination, Prince Edward Island. This evening,
enjoy a lively local performance in Charlottetown.

Day 4-- Prince Edward IslandAfter a leisurely
start, get to know one of Canada most attractive and smallest provinces. Begin
with the sights of Charlottetown. See Province House, where Canada became a
United Confederation of Provinces, and the Historic Waterfront. Continue to the
literary home of Anne of Green Gables, Cavendish Beach and Rustico Harbour.
Notice the beautiful rolling red hills and peaceful sandy beaches along the bay.
Evening brings a special treat, a traditional Maritime lobster bake!

Day 5-- Cape Breton Island Baddeck
Start the day
with a short ferry ride back to mainland Nova Scotia. Then cross Canso Strait to
one of Canadas most scenic areas, Cape Breton Island. Descendants of French,
Scottish settlers and even Micmac Indians maintain separate cultural identities
in this gorgeous wonderland of seascapes, forests and highlands. Arrive in
Baddeck and visit the fascinating Alexander Graham Bell Museum. The famous
inventor used this area as a summer retreat. A relaxing two-night stay here will
be the perfect access point for exploring the surroundings.

Day 6-- Cabot Trail
Today focus on one of the
most scenic drives in North America and a highlight of this vacation: The John
Cabot Trail. Magnificent vistas will be pointed out at each turn on this
spectacular loop-drive. Visit Cheticamp, a distinct French-speaking village by
the sea where the intricate art of hook weaving may be observed. Enjoy an
afternoon arrival at your hotel for the evening.

Day 7-Cabot Trail Halifax
Follow the Marine
Drive and travel along a route which passes the epitomes of classic coastal
villages. Visit an old fashioned sawmill powered by water at Sherbrooke. Stop
for lunch at lovely Liscombe Lodge. Then pass through settlements with Micmac
Indian names like Ecum Secum before arriving in Halifax, Nova Scotias
metropolitan center.

Day 8- Halifax
Begin the day with a drive to see
Peggys Cove. This village and lighthouse are one of the most photographed
seaside settings on the Eastern Seaboard. View the Citadel and the Old Town
Clock in Halifax en route to the cove. Afternoon is free to explore this
colorful city. See the excellent maritime museum, or shop and browse in the
wonderful Historic Properties waterfront district near your hotel. You might
even take a cruise on this famous and historic harbor.

Day 9- Halifaxn Bar Harbor
Today is a lengthy
but exciting day of travel by land and by sea. Begin with a visit to Lunenburg
and the fascinating Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Then follow the lighthouse
route to Yarmouth at the southern tip of Nova Scotia. Here, board the CAT for a
cruise to Bar Harbor, Maine. Your resort for two nights is the charming Bar
Harbor Inn.

Day 10- Bar Harbor Acadia National ParkThis day
of the tour is likely to be one of the most memorable. Wake up at leisure in one
of the most quaint and scenic resorts in Maine. Take the drive through
spectacular Acadia National Park, and make stops at Thunder Hole and atop
Cadillac Mountain with its panoramic view. Return to browse the shops or just
relax at the inn-by-the-sea. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner hosted by your Tour
Director.

Day 11- Bar Harbor Boston Home
After breakfast,
sit back and enjoy the scenic ride as you travel back to Boston for flights
home. Arrival time at Logan International Airport is approximately 4:00 p.m.
