Day 2: HANOI - HA LONG ( B )
A morning city tour of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam with unique tree - lined boulevards, peaceful lakes, French building and oriental temples to visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the house on stilt where Ho Chi Minh lived in the last days of his life, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature (the Vietnam's first university in the 11 -12 centuries). Day 3: HA LONG - HA NOI ( B )
After breakfast, boat cruise on the green water of Ha Long Bay, the World Natural Heritage with thousands of spectacular limestone islands to visit some caves. Seafood lunch on board. After lunch car picks up for returning to Ha Noi by road. Check in the hotel on arrival. Overnight in Ha Noi
Day 4: HA NOI ( B )
City tour of Hanoi including Arts Museum, Army Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda. The rest of the day at leisure for shopping at the Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy a traditional water puppet shows ( unique in the world). Overnight in Hanoi.
Leaving Hanoi for the picturesque day's journey to Sapa, the small town in the high northwestern mountain zone of Vietnam. There are many opportunities for filming on the way as passing through many green rice fields and hills. Stop over at Yen Bai visit Black Dao and Flower H'mong villages. Arrive at Lao Cai where on the opposite bank of the Red River is China. From Lao Cai Town, driving up a very beautiful view pass to Sapa, a former French hill resort, the home to many ethnic groups. Check in the hotel on arrival. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 6: SAPA ( B )
Takes a walking tour of Sapa visit the market where Red Dao, H'mong and other hill tribes from the surrounding countryside selling their embroidery, silverware, and handicrafts and buying provisions, light trekking to some hill tribe villages nearby. Day 7: SAPA - HANOI ( B )
After breakfast, leave Sapa for Hanoi via Lao Cai. Another opportunity for a long journey passes through the most wonderful photogenic mountains, valleys and rice paddies of Vietnam, stop over sometimes for filming. Check in the hotel on arrival. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: HANOI - NINH BINH - HANOI ( B )
A 100 km drive south on Highway One to Hoa Lu, The first Vietnam's capital, now is Ninh Binh Province, take a sampan on the small canal through rice paddies with many limestone mountains around (Ha Long on the ground) to see Tam Coc caves. After lunch continue the tour to Phat Diem Stone Cathedral whose the architecture imitated the Vietnamese traditional communal house. Coming back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: DEPART HANOI ( B )
At leisure for personal activities till the time transfer to the airport for departure flight. End of the tour.
Included: All transfers and sightseeing tours, accommodation on twin share basis, daily breakfast, entrance fee, boat ride, local English / French / Mandarin speaking guide, water puppet shows, visa arrangement.
