Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Guests will arrive at Delhi Airport where they will be welcomed by our representative with a meticulously constructed plan for wildlife tour to Southern India. Our representative will then escort you to the hotel booked previously as pre planned for being your first base for tour of South India wildlife. Guests will spend the rest of the day at the hotel relaxing and rejuvenating in the city.
Day 02: At Delhi
This day of your tour will be devoted to a full day city tour to main attractions of the city. Guests will first relish an appetizing meal in the morning and then will drive for a full day excursion of the main tourist places of the city. This tour will begin with a tour to the main historical monuments of the city including Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and some of the architectural grandeur such as Lotus Temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for the night stay.
Day 03: Delhi- Bangalore
In the morning relish an appetizing meal and thereafter drive to the airport where our representative will make all the arrangements for your journey ahead. Guests will board the flight to Bangalore where on their arrival they will be immediately transferred to Mysore encompassing a three hour long journey. At Mysore guests will be located at a hotel for the night stay and the rest of the day will bring opportunity to visit exquisite Brindaban gardens and Mysore Palace.
Day 04: Bangalore - Nagarhole National Park
On this day guests will begin their journey to Nagarhole National Park in the morning. This journey will take 2 ½ hours to reach Nagarhole National Park where you will first check into a wildlife lodge for the night stay. Thereafter enjoy an afternoon jeep safari which will begin your Jungle tour of South India. View the elusive and stealthy species of Nagarhole also view the furious Royal Bengal Tiger and other wild creatures in the jungle. Guests then will return to their lodge where they will stay for the night.Day 05: At Nagarhole National Park
Begin the morning with a sumptuous meal at the hotel and then proceed to the Nagarhole National Park for a morning safari. Guests will begin the morning with an enchanting wildlife viewing and bird watching in the park or a boat ride on the scenic River Kabini. Guests then will return to their hotel where they will be served an appetizing lunch. In the evening enjoy an exhilarating elephant or jeep ride into the jungle. Guests then will retire to their rooms for overnight stay.Day 06: Nagarhole National Park - B R Hills
As pre planned under this wildlife tour to Southern India guests will drive to B R Hills encompassing a six hours journey. At B R Hills guests will experiment with afternoon trekking in the hills for wildlife viewing. At B R Hills guests will be accommodated in tents for the night stay.Day 07: At B R Hills
Begin this day of with an appetizing meal which will be followed by a morning trip to the hills for enjoying wildlife and bird watching. On this day guests will spent the day relaxing amidst the tranquilizing environs of the region thereafter return to your tents for overnight stay.
Day 08: B R Hills - Bandipur National Park
Your South India tour on this day will be attributed to another jungle safari. Guests will first relish an appetizing meal in the morning thereafter they will depart to Bandipur which is a four hour of drive. At Bandipur guests will be accommodated in a jungle resort where they will be served a sumptuous lunch which will add new vigor to the guests for an afternoon safari. Guests then will visit the wildlife sanctuary of Bandipur enjoying a jeep safari. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.Day 09: At Bandipur National Park
On this day guests will be served a sumptuous meal in the morning. In the morning enjoy an exhilarating experience of wildlife viewing in the verdant environs of the park. Bandipur National Park is also well known for its wide variety of birds thus guest can also enjoy bird watching here. The evening safari to the jungle will be another exciting experience. Thereafter return to the resort for the night stay.Day 10: Bandipur National Park - Ooty
On this day of this wildlife tour to Southern India guests will depart for their next destination Ooty post breakfast. The drive from Bandipur National Park to Ooty is a three hour long voyage which will make you reach the scenic hill station of Ooty. At Ooty guests will be accommodated in a hotel befitting their preference and budget. Rest of the day will be free for leisure at Ooty thereafter return to the hotel for the night stay.Day11: Ooty - Munnar - Eravikulam National Park
On this day guests will begin the day with a sumptuous meal at hotel which will be followed by a trip to Munnar. Guests will drive to Munnar where they will be escorted to Eravikulam National Park in the afternoon where they will be accommodated in a resort for the night stay. This day will be attributed to your tour to view wildlife in South India as guests will pay an afternoon visit to the park to watch especially the famous Nilgiri Thar.Day 12: Eravikulam National Park - Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
In the morning visit Eravikulam National Park which is famous for its large population of various wild animals such as Elephants, Sambhar's, Gaurs, Lion- tailed Macaque, Nilgiri, Langur, Tigers and Leopards. Enjoy a jeep safari in the jungle while viewing these wild animals and bird watching. Post lunch guests will drive to Periyar encompassing a three hour long drive. At Periyar guests will be accommodated in a resort for the night stay.Day 13: At Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
At Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary guests will begin the day with a boat cruise for watching the wildlife at the park such as wild elephants which are frolicking in the lake. Also enjoy a leisurely expedition for bird watching in the park. Guests then will return to their resort for an overnight stay.Day 14: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Kumarkom
This day of your wildlife tour to Southern India will begin with a morning drive to Kumarakom which will be a five hour long journey. Guests will reach Kumarakom in the afternoon and will be accommodated in a beauteous backwater resort for an overnight stay. Rest of the day will be free for leisure at Kumarkom.Day 15: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
Guest will enjoy a tranquilizing backwater cruise on this day in the morning. The rest of the day will be free for leisure. Thereafter the evening will be marked for a visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where they will enjoy bird watching on the banks of the scenic Vembanad Lake. Return to the resort for the night stay.Day 16: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - Kochi - Departure
The final day of this wildlife tour to Southern India will begin with a three hour drive from Kumarakom to Kochi. At Kochi the day will be assigned for the sightseeing tour of the city encompassing favorite tourist destinations such as Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, and St. Francis Church etc. At Kochi guests will be escorted to the Airport from where they will board their flight for onward journey.
